Currently, global adoption of electric vehicles is estimated around 2% and is expected to reach 10% to 12.5% by 2025. Drivers of this surge include policy support, advances in technology resulting in falling costs, and overwhelming positive responses from automakers towards electrification. Governments around the world have adopted measures to encourage or require electric vehicle deployment.
